Alexa // Orange County Fashion and Portrait Photoshoot
Alexa and I had our first shoot together in June of 2018. Since then we’ve shot countless times, but these photos blow every other of ours out of the water. We shot at OC’s only natural light studio, Sparks Studio, and let me just say, I could have shot there ALL DAY. Thank you, Jennifer, for having us! Check out the perfect mix of portraiture and fashion here
I love taking portraits. To be blunt, they’re my shit. Don’t get me wrong, I love fashion and pretty clothes, but I’m much more interested in capturing the people in them. As cheesy as it sounds, we all have something unique about us (major eye roll, I know) and I love capturing it. Whether its the way you smile when you laugh, or the way your eyes light up when I prompt you to think of Rihanna baking you cookies, we all got something. I highly recommend doing a solo portrait session at least once in your young adult life. When you look back on them 5, 10, 15, 30 years from now, you’ll never be upset you did them. You’ll smile at how amazing you looked and get to enjoy how much you’ve grown since.

Elii - Black Boy Joy // Los Angeles, Ca // Styled Shoot
Flowers, suit, chains, VOGUE. One of my favorite and most special shoots to date.
This shoot marks a pivotal milestone for myself and my photography career, because it was my first shoot where MY images were published on Vogue Italia! I legit cried when I found out. After submitting multiple times with other shoots and not getting published, I went into this shoot with Elii ready to make some MAGIC. This was the first shoot, in what felt like forever, where I stepped out of my comfort zone and really saw my vision come to life! When I look at these images I can see the progress of my work and the continuing evolution of who I am as an artist.
Elii and I met via IG almost a year before this shoot took place. When we originally “met,” Elii was living still in High School and lived in Cleveland, Ohio. After he finally made his way to Los Angeles, Ca, we wasted no time planning this shoot. Within a week-and-a-half of him touching down, we got together and took these pics. Scroll down to see my faves!

Baby Girl // Domino Park // Williamsburg, Brooklyn Family Photographer
A mini portrait shoot for a little diva at Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
This summer I spent 6 weeks in New York City. More specifically Brooklyn. I made a new friend who wanted some quick photos of his daughter while she was in town. Most of these are unedited but I love them so much because they speak truth to this little girl’s personality. In April 2020 I will officially be a Brooklyn base portrait and fashion photographer. Lemme take your pics.

The Young Heiress // The Plaza Hotel, Central Park, Warehouse // New York City Fashion Photoshoot
Being in New York for 6 weeks meant working with my girl Yoonhye again. She’s a loyal little (actually p tall) angel.
When I announced my 6 week trip to New York City, Yoonhye, aka The Young Heiress, being the loyal angel she is, immediately booked two shoots. One during my first week and one during my last - both were fun as heck. The first set of images are from my second-to-last day in Brooklyn at a random warehouse Yoonhye found. We had less than an hour to shoot because I had to leave to attend The Greatest Day Ever, a music festival at Coney Island. The second set of images start outside the Plaza Hotel and move to Central Park area.
You can check out our first ever shoot here.

Elle // Downtown Los Angeles Birthday Photoshoot
Elle celebrated her golden birthday - 25 on the 25th - with a portrait/fashion photoshoot, and she asked lil ole me to capture it.
Elle celebrated her golden birthday - 25 on the 25th - with a portrait/fashion photoshoot, and she asked lil ole me to capture it. I love love love that Elle decided to treat herself to this. I truly believe that there is nothing more empowering than having your own photoshoot at least once in your life. When you’re older you won’t look back on these photos and regret taking them. Look how badass, strong and beautiful she looks. I promise, this could be you too.
Anyway, Elle and I met up in Downtown Los Angeles and roamed around with no serious sense of direction. She styled it herself and Olya Tizer beat that face. If you’re interested in your own Birthday Photoshoot email me through my contact form and let’s get planning!
The Young Heiress // The New York Public Library and Canal Street Fashion Photoshoot
Yoonhye, aka The Young Heiress, found me on IG when I posted about visiting New York City and booked two mini sessions (different days due to schedule conflicts). Yoonhye is a South Korean immigrant, fashion blogger, and actual angel. She is so sweet and so comfortable in front of the camera. It was an absolute pleasure to take her photos.

Our first shoot took place on Canal Street and our second at The New York Public Library. The final shot was at the Brooklyn Bridge - we were there for a microsecond because we both had to leave but I’m still stoked we got it! Check it out here:
Alanna // Brooklyn, New York Summer Sunrise Shoot
My first photoshoot in Brooklyn, New York with my beautiful bestie Alanna.
This is probably photoshoot 289 with Alanna and one my most exciting ones because it was my first photoshoot in New York, ever. I wasn’t visiting for long, just enough for us to celebrate Alanna’s bday, get Friday the 13th tattoos, and go to a music festival in the Bronx. Yet, we still managed to sneak in a quick - maybe 45 minute - shoot at sunrise one of the mornings. We began on her rooftop in Brooklyn, then walked around her streets and called it a day.
